Graupner Jet Ranger

This my Graupner Jet Ranger fuselage, it will powered by an OS 61 engine. The vents on the front are Vario items as are the 'Bell Jet Ranger' badges, aerials, pitot tube and exhausts.
As you can see I have fitted some scale exhausts which are Vario exhausts and they come with a nice chrome finish and are simply glued in place. The vents need to be cut out with a Dremel then some aluminium gauze is epoxied in place from the inside which gives a good scale effect.
The baggage compartment hatch was made to open to eventually give access to the glow driver, on-off switch, charging lead and refuelling pipe. The hinges used are Vario scale Jet Ranger hinges and the door is kept closed with a Vario sliding latch.
This is the starboard side of my Jet Ranger, here you can see the non working fuel filler.
The finish was achieved by painting the fuselage white then applying the Graupner decal sheet and sealing the fuselage with some 'Flair' gloss fuel proofer.
